Surroundings

Always something new to experience!

We wish to provide you a cosy spot in the centre of the oldest city in Holland. All kinds of services are within walking distance (public transport, museums, shops, restaurants, etc.) The beautiful national park ‘Hollandse Biesbosch’, the windmills of ‘Kinderdijk’ (a UNESCO world heritage site) and the port city of Rotterdam are but a few of the highlights in the area. Dordrecht is the perfect place to discover the county of South-Holland.

The river is a living tableau where a plethora of vessels pass by. It’s a joy to observe and to see the things that are transported over water. The nearby supply bargeĀ is a lively anchorage where a wide variety of ships come to forage.

Exploring the surroundings

The centre of Dordrecht is an excellent place to discover while taking a stroll. You can epxlore the wider surroundings perfectly by bicycle. Holland is perfectly suited for cyclists, there are lots of wide and safe bicycle paths and the flat terrain makes for a leisurely experience. You can store your bicycles safely in our large, indoor parking area. You can bring your own or you can rent bicycles and e-bikes.
